Orchard Hotel - Noodles

Very happy when dearest val called to ask if i'm free to attend a food tasting session at Orchard Hotel - Noodles (:

Noodles, with their newly hired chef from BeiJing (Chef Xu Ai Min), has an exciting new menu with enhanced variety to sastify noodles lovers!

Food makes me an extremely happy girl, and i'll let the pictures do the talking.

Upon arriving, I was greeted by the ever friendly person in charge, Amy!

The side dishes! Left - Cucumber Pickles, Right - Marinated Black Fungus with Wasabi.

We were actually given a small portion of the original,

so not to worry, if you head down there for meals, 

it will be bigger!

haha.

The cucumbers were VERY CRUNCHY.

It taste sour & sweet at the same time, and I love it cos such dishes are very 开胃.

As for the Marinated Black Fungus with Wasabi, it was not bad, a worthy choice if you love spicy stuff!

But the cucumbers just totally 偷走我的心。。。。

  

Stewed Beef Brisket and Tendon

SUPER SUPER SUPER AWESOME.

Super tender beef, fantabulous gravy, and if you love meat as much as I do,

I think you will experience euphoria upon tasting this.

hahaha.

It tasted like kong bar, but a more delicious one.

And as you know I'm still recovering from jaw surgery, I'm super happy when I can just let it melt or dissolve in my mouth cos the meat is so soft and tender.

A must order if you wanna dine at Noodles!

 

Prawn Wanton in Superior Broth

Prawn + Meat = happy eils.

The wanton skin was soft and i like the thickness - perfect for me.

Noodles with Fresh Tomatoes and Eggs

A MUST ORDER IF U EVER HEAD DOWN TO NOODLES.

Personally not a big fan of tomatoes, but I finished it all.

Tomatoes & eggs make a good combination, bonus - the tomatoes were very fresh and soft.

 

Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles

Sprinkled with peanuts, soft noodles, and extremely spicy.

So if you love spicy hot stuff, eat it the Sichuan style ^^

 

Dessert of the day - 黑糯米

Sweet enough for me, surprisingly not gelat

So, if you wanna try good authentic hand-made noodles, Noodles is definitely the place to go!
