Is the BFF title really that important?

because of this, i lost my best friend.

missed her ROM.

missed her baby's birth.

missed being around at her lowest point.

just because i was too obsessed with the BFF title.

wanting to be her priority.

setting expectations for her.

getting ridiculously jealous and angry when she put other friends before me.

but in actual fact, i had everything of her.

maybe in small parts, but i had everything of her.

so i killed us, killed the friendship.

and it took me almost a year to realize this BFF title is just something i can actually do without.
